A spot which I can say is the nearest to my heart in Andhra Pradesh… be the effortlessness of the satralu it holds, the tempting nalamalla backwoods, the serene mountains, the little streams… it was one spot where I found that inward peace when trekking in the timberland…
It was my first outing with GHAC as a coordinator and that too solo, which itself was an energy in itself and my first visit to this place..From the time I read about this spot and heard that it was one spot where you are permitted to go into the Nalamalla woodland I was kicking the bucket to go there… at last with a gathering of 10 , we set off..
We took a transport from Hyderabad to Allagadda and from that point actually an erra palla velugu transport to Ahobilam. Ahobilam is isolated into 2 sections lower and upper. The lower part is the place the town is and the upper part is the place the sanctuary, backwoods, and mountains are. Ahobilam has nine sanctuaries scattered over the different parts of the timberland and town. Our transport ceased at the lower Ahobilam. In the wake of making a few inquiries on where we can stay, we were indicated out Mr.Badri Narayana why should assumed be similar to a nearby leader of the trust and an extremely decent fellow. He got us a few rooms in the visitor house and once we freshend up, the time had come to do some petpuja. You would see a few ladies sitting along the street making dosas with karam
We freshend up, had some supper and the night was essentially amazing with the cool wind swinging surrounding us. Indeed, even after 18 kms of strolling that day, still the excellence of the spot was such that we needed more. So we did a little night stroll till the end of the town and finished our day.
The following day the time had come to go to pavana and what a way it was..simply amazing! We did a reversal to Upper Ahobilam and took an alternate course this time through the backwoods to go to Pavana. Fortunately there was no group that day and It was marginally drizziling which was a special reward. One can discover heaps of monkeys on this course..
This was the way were I experienced passionate feelings for this spot. Such very stillness, such tranquil peace, that at a point I took a couple of minutes to proceed to be separated from everyone else and simply listen to the woodland sounds. The bliss and serenity it purchased to heart streamed a couple drops of tears.
We experienced some pleasant trees to climb and a sanctuary which was in a hollow where we need to creep on all our 4 appendages. We then achieved Pavana, took at some point off,
